I have put on my online invisible cloak once again and have made myself scarce in the blogosphere. Well, aside from being in the thick of preps for upcoming projects, our company has put a cap on our social networking site privileges. So that means goodbye blogging during office hours. Sniff! Sniff!
What is keeping me going is my excitement over my upcoming Tacloban trip--my first visit to the place, and my first business trip for the year. This is definitely a far cry from last year's lagari mode which took me to exotic places like Polillo Island, Lanao del Norte, Cadiz, among others.
To say that these visits were exciting would be an understatement. You see we had really rich and meaningful experiences. Some were emotionally draining (read as: muntik na kami ma-kidnap!) and the others, physically taxing--requiring us to hike great distances and heights. Now if only I could squeeze myself into hiking boots like the john deere boots the Haligilet has, then maybe those trips wouldn't have been as exhausting. But I am not complaining. Those trips were some of the most memorable ones I've had.
But while I miss marking milestones in my interesting and insightful business trips, I would very much prefer staying close to my loved ones so we can celebrate milestones and memories, together. Fact is, this Friday, we will indeed be marking another one--the son will be graduating from summer enrichment. And as a commencement activity, his class will be having an exhibit. Weee!!!
So I am bracing myself for this one helluva hectic and exciting week.
