8-foot-4 Ijaz Ahmed, a towering Pakistani who has come to the Philippines to raise funds for his right leg operation, made a visit to the Makati Med yesterday. He was in a car accident a few years ago, breaking his right foot, and now walks with the assistance of his friend and interpreter, Jamil Ahmed. His friend said “Ijaz’s doctors say he is still growing and he could add about 3 inches more,” which would be about 256cm (8’ 7”). The gentle giant came from Pakistan via Bangkok to Manila to raise a little money for his medical care. Yes folks, the tallest man has come to our country to look for the kindest souls. So calling out all big-hearted doctors out there, including Dr Daniel Amen, now's your chance to help and make that mark. And what a big mark it would be. :)
