VACAY TIME

I just got home from our group Christmas party and I had a blast. Who wouldn't? Good food, great company, fab entertainment--what more can one ask for. Remind me to post pictures of the food we ate, will yah?

The party was a welcome reprieve from all the work that had fallen on my lap the past months. I'm glad that I am slowly but surely ticking things off my to-do list. Hopefully, I will be done by Friday, the date of our company-wide Christmas party. After that, my vacation officially starts. Woot! Woot!

I have long been looking forward to this yearend break. After working my b**t off the whole year, getting away on one of those long overdue romantic vacations seems to be really, really tempting. You see work and parenthood can really be potent mix that going on a Haligi-and-Ilaw-only vacay seems to be a very remote posibility.

But I am still hoping that someday (SOON), we can get on that plane and go on our second honeymoon, maybe to some exotic place like the Maldives, Bali, or a jamaica all inclusive resort, and have a vow renewal ceremony similar to those picturesque and romantic caribbean weddings.

But until that time comes, we just have to make do and be creative.
