THE (NEXT) HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH

Thanks to a Greys Anatomy marathon that extended to the wee hours of the morning, and an early Sunday morning date with Haligi to catch the Pacquiao fight, I was not able to blog about what kept me (in)sane the past rainy Saturday.

Ever since my officemates and I discovered FIC's The Ice Cream Bar, visiting the place has turned out to be one of our family's favorite pastimes.

From cool and tasteful interiors...
to the cute jar-like chairs...
and quality bar stools...
every detail of The Ice Cream Bar has helped transform it into one of the happiest places on earth for me. Well...next to Disneyland, of course.

Almost every weekend, my boys and I troop to the ice cream haven to catch the latest "scoop" -- pun intended :D And last Saturday night was no exception. Armed with our windbreakers and Crocs, Haligi, Haligilet and I braved the rains to catch a taste of heaven once again. Check out our loot:

Haligilet literally went bananas :D while I, settled for this...Superbbb!

Now the secret to my diet regimen is out :D But if the calories come with warm moments with those I hold dear, I wouldn't mind the extra poundage at all!
