UH OH!

A loud crash woke me up this morning. By some unexplainable twist of fate, Haligilet, who seems to be still hungover his 2nd bday bowling party last year, decided to play a game of, you'd never guess--tenpins! And his unfortunate target--his Dada's wine collection!

To document this "milestone," I just couldn't resist taking a picture. Do forgive me, please. The little (guilty) imp looked like this after taking aim...

As luck would have it, Haligilet had not polished his armswing just yet. Only two (and thank God, empty!) wine bottles met their ultimate demise. Darn, Yaya M was just too efficient--I didn't get a chance to take a pic of the mess. Too bad. Hehehe!

While rather unfortunate, this mishap in the wee hours of the morning was indeed a blessing in disguise. I have long been convincing Haligi to update the roster of "mainstays" in our kitchen. And he has always been putting off my request to get rid of his clutter by buying a few space-saving furniture.

Now, I've got enough leverage--more future tenpin tourneys, or peace of mind? I'm sure, Haligi is finally convinced that a wine rack is a must-have, even for a one-bedroom "mansion" like ours.
