I did a bit of spring cleaning this month and I came across five treasured finds--archives of Haligilet's magazine debuts. Save for the usual letters to the editor, my son's print cameos were at amusing sections--a "happiest baby" stroller contest, a feature on Father's Day (in which, by the way, his and Haligi's names were interchanged!), and even at a vaccine article. But who am I to complain, right?
A (closet) stage mom, I diligently sent photos (and sent prayers to the high heavens as well), hoping that my son would land on any issue of my favorite parenting resources. And they did--five times! I am still bracing myself for my son's future outburst given a particular "suggestive" pose. Patawad, anak, patawad. Hehehe.
I just hope the same magazines would still be around if and when my next shot at motherhood comes--whenever that will be. No more nude poses, promise! :)
